Jordan Holland is a world renowned classically trained vocalist and performance coach. Born and raised in the Westerville suburb of Ohio, Jordan was literally “MADE” for music. His rich tone is as beautiful and fiery as the classical tenor Luciano Pavarotti’s and as velvety and soulful as smooth crooner Luther Vandross. This acquired him leading roles in several productions, like L’elisir d’amore, the main opera in the 2010 Rome Opera Festival and also guest artist spots throughout the Nashville music scene.

Jordan’s story begins quite extraordinarily to say the least. As a senior in high school, Jordan auditioned and was selected to be on MTV’s “MADE”. The show’s producers immediately fell in love with Jordan’s infectious personality, from that day forward his life was never the same. With the help of his coach former NFL running back Eddie George, Joe Johnson, and the Marathon Fitness family Jordan was handcrafted into a powerful force to be reckoned with. It was during the “MADE” process that Jordan’s passion for music was ignited. “The whole experience literally lit me on fire” says Jordan of being “MADE” and burn bright he did. Jordan created and produced his first song “King for A Day” with the help of Grammy award winning producer Shannon Sanders, the night before he successfully won prom king of Westerville South High School. He jumped his first hurdle, which changed his life forever.

Under the tutelage of Valija Bumbulis, Jordan became one of the illustrious Fisk Jubilee Singers®. “It was at Fisk that I found my voice, I fell in love with classical music” recounting his experience at Fisk Jordan said. As his love for classical music grew, Jordan traveled the world sculpting and refining his voice and performance technique. His rich and robust sound lingers in the hearts and minds of all. Jordan’s hard work and commitment to excellence has made him a highly sought after leader in his field. So much so, after obtaining his Master of Music in Vocal Performance from Roosevelt University’s Chicago College of Performing Arts, Jordan was called to run the studio of his former teacher and mentor Valija Bumbulis. This is an honor that has not been bestowed upon any past or present Fisk Alum.

With his classical foundation and love for feel good R&B, Jordan crafted his sound and molded his artistry. Time and focus resulted in the creation of music with a message, the goal from his initial start. His music uses catchy and expressive melodies, phrases that keep you wanting more, and soul that hits you at your core. Presently, Jordan is completing his debut music project “Acoustic Expressions: The Recital Project” slated for release in early Fall 2016. This project is filled with music that is real and relevant. Each song speaks to its listeners in a way that awakens and charges their hearts and minds.
